Online Petition to Stop Elder Abuse (India)

Siliver Inning's online petition to stop elder abuse

On the occasion of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day – June 15 – Silver Innings, an organisation dedicated to senior citizens, is asking people to sign an online petition that addresses the issue of elder abuse, on its website 'Silverinnings.com'.

ON WORLD Elder Abuse Awareness Day – June 15, Silver Innings has taken the responsibility to address the issue of elder abuse by various programmes. Signing of an online petition is one of the mediums to make the Central and state government, and the society at large, aware of the problem and the given recommendations.
This petition is part of a month-long programme during June 2008 (June 1 to June 30) and an initiative of Silver Innings, an organisation dedicated to senior citizens and their family members.
