ISLAND LAKE --“ Officials are investigating a 48-year-old Island Lake woman who allegedly allowed her mother and a teenage runaway to live in a house littered with dog feces, broken windows and rotting food, Island Lake Police Chief John Fellmann said.
Elder abuseConcerned neighbors or family members can report suspected elder abuse to the Illinois Department on Aging’s Elder Abuse Hotline at 866-800-1409.
