Attempted murder charge over granny bash

A 30-year-old Melbourne man has been charged with the attempted murder and burglary of a 91-year-old great grandmother, who died weeks after being attack in her home.
John Andrew Kelsen, of no fixed address, was arrested yesterday afternoon in Anderson Reserve, Glenroy, following a six month investigation.
He is accused of breaking into 91-year-old Rachel Williams' home through her bedroom window in Cooper Street, Broadmeadows, as she slept on the morning of August 13 last year.
