Trial has been delayed for a suspected cross-dressing caregiver who reportedly bilked an elderly Vacaville woman out of $30,000.
Defendant Penina Tawake, 31, had been scheduled to begin a jury trial Tuesday on charges of financial elder abuse and fraud, but the proceeding was postponed Monday at the request of Tawake's defense attorney.
