Advocates wear purple to note elder abuse, neglect

THE COLUMBIAN
June 15 is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, and the Clark County Vulnerable Adult Task Force wants you to wear purple on that day to spread awareness that aging adults often suffer from abuse and neglect.
It’s an international event in support of the United Nations International Plan of Action.
