Prom for seniors over 50
Save the date! A senior citizen prom for people ages 50 and over will be held on May 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. The month of May is Elder Abuse Awareness Month. Each year, the Texas Department of State Health Services seeks a way to honor senior citizens, and this year, they plan to make it a very memorable year for seniors.
They are seeking any and all help you or your company is willing to give, such as donations of funds, time or gifts to make this great event something the community and its senior citizens will remember as their night and special recognition.
For more information or to make a donation, contact Annette Pimentel or Flora Williams at 936-825-7476, 936-825-3495 or Annette.pimentel@dshs.state.tx.us, fewilliams@ag.tamu.edu.
