Nursing home carer for trial

A NURSING home carer accused of stealing £85 from her employer has appeared at Leicester Crown Court.
At the court last Thursday was Carol Smith (33), of Front Street, Birstall, Leicester, who is charged with four counts of theft of cash from The Lodge nursing home, in Grange Lane, Thurnby, in February this year.
Smith denied the charges and the case was adjourned until December 1 for trial.
Her unconditional bail was extended to that date.
