If you suspect that an elderly person who may be incapacitated is being abused, neglected or exploited you must report it to the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services.
For information or to report elder abuse, call 800-949-0470. There are people who would rip off elders for money or items of value without hesitation for self desire. It all comes under the heading of elder abuse.
Don't hesitate in asking for help. From 2000 to 2007 the number of reported cases of adult abuse and neglect increased from 1,420 to 2,450.
