Elder abuse investigation takes disturbing turn

A Genesee County elder abuse investigation took a turn when pictures of naked, young girls were found on the floor of the suspect's bedroom.
Rickie Woodring, 50, of Grand Blanc Township, has been charged with embezzlement of jointly held property, producing child sexually abusive activity and possession of child sexually abusive material.
The focus at first was money. Woodring is accused of stealing nearly $190,000 from accounts he held with his elderly mother, using it to do business on eBay.
"The legal guardian was disturbed by the large withdrawals by Woodring," said Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickel.
