Student Arts Competition for Elder Abuse Wareness (AZ. USA)

2009 "Why Should I Care About Elder Abuse?" 
Student Arts Competition

In an effort to make young people aware of the tragedy of elder abuse, Attorney General Terry Goddard, the Arizona Elder Abuse Coalition and Free Arts of Arizona have partnered in the 2009 "Why Should I Care About Elder Abuse?" Student Arts Competition.

High School Juniors throughout Arizona are invited to write an original poem or essay, or to create an original artwork illustrating the "Why Should I Care About Elder Abuse?" message for use on a poster that will be distributed as part of a statewide Elder Abuse Awareness campaign. The deadline for entry is 5:00 PM on March 31, 2009.
