Former Nursing Home Employee Sentenced for Vulnerable Adult Abuse

 JACKSON, MS (WLBT)

A Jackson woman pleads guilty to felony abuse of a vulnerable adult.  

38 year old Nicole Williams worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant at Manhattan Nursing Home during November 2007.

She pleaded guilty to striking a resident at that facility.

Williams was sentenced to five years supervised probation during which her C.N.A. license will be suspended and she was given a one thousand dollar fine.

She can reapply for her license at the end of the five years.
