Vallejo police arrested a 30-year-old man around 1 p.m. Friday who is suspected of repeatedly knocking over his grandmother.
Dontay Jones of Vallejo allegedly threw his 68-year-old grandmother to the ground over and over Friday at a home in the 100 block of Maher Court, police said. He was arrested and booked on suspicion of elder abuse and battery, police said.
The grandmother had no visible injuries, but complained of severe pain to her knees and elbows.
