Program to focus on elder abuse

The Mediation Center of Dutchess County will present a program highlighting World Elder Abuse Awareness Day as part of its "Wise Talk" Elder Mediation Program from noon to 1:30 Monday at the Family Partnership Center.
Service providers, officials and individuals who work with the elderly will gather to discuss elder safety and how their agencies, organizations and communities respond to this growing problem.
Participants will also discuss whether there is a need for an elder abuse coalition in Dutchess County.
The program is open to the public.
