CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman who says she stole money from a person she was taking care of will spend time in jail.
A judge sentenced Danielle Harvey Wednesday to 5 years probation. She will also serve 30 days in jail, complete 200 hours of community service, and repay the money she stole.
Police say Harvey forged 28 checks from her clients' accounts, totaling more than $24,000.
Back in May, Harvey pleaded guilty to felony abuse of the elderly.
