The Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield has received a $15,000 competitive grant from the Fairfield County Community Foundation (FCCF) for its Center for Elder Abuse Prevention.
The Center for Elder Abuse Prevention is a community-oriented program to reach out to victims of elder abuse in Fairfield County and prevent future abuse through education. It has received nearly 80 referrals since opening in late 2007.
