A 55-year-old Victorville grocery store worker was arrested this weekend in connection with the theft of wallets from some of the store's elderly customers, according to San Bernardino County sheriff's officials.
Geneva Macon was booked Saturday into Victor Valley Jail for investigation of elder abuse, theft by someone with a prior conviction for theft, and extortion. Detectives say they may add additional charges if it turns out that any of the victim's credit and debit cards have been used as a result of the thefts.
