Carer arrested for leaving 93-year-old Pearl Harbor veteran to live in his own filth and writing fake cheques to herself

A home helper has been charged with elder abuse after a Pearl Harbor survivor was found bewildered and surrounded by his own filth.
Arnold Bauer, 93, is being treated in a Veterans Hospital in La Jolla, California, after local authorities found him in horrifying conditions last week.
His carer, Milandros Angeles, 62, has been charged with false imprisonment of an elder, elder abuse, theft and forgery and is in jail on a bail bond of $1million.
