Couple Charged With Financial Elder Abuse

Police: Dependant Man’s Money Spent By Son, Son’s Ex-Wife

A couple was supposed to take care of a disabled family member, but instead a man and his ex-wife wiped out the man's father's life savings, police said.

Chris Krapes and his ex-wife Erin are charged with a felony count of mistreating a dependant adult after police said they spent Krapes's father's money. The charge carries a sentence of either probation or a few years in prison if convicted.
